thought i'd share these with you all. Eddie and Daves visit to my Dads shop in Ponty in '85. One person missing from all of the photos is ME - I was on a school French trip and couldnt be there 

if anyone recognises themselves - give a shout. Some of my mates from BITD in the shots are -

i wish - i spent every Saturday working / playing here for pocket money. Shop was shut down in late '86/early '87 - gutted. it was fun while it lasted.

indeed - had a load of stuff personalised - and yes - truly gutted - almost pulled out of the trip on purpose.

helmet auto'd by both of them - long since chucked as it went rotten in garage
got a set of New white tour pads with small message from Eddie on them and sig - cant find them since we moved house. i'm sure they are still at parents house. 
best one though was a personal video my dad got with eddie talking into the camera telling 'me' he wished i was there - guess what - my dad taped over it a couple years later by accident!"!!! 

ive also still got an original of the World Tour tape (betamax !!  ) trying to work out how to get it into digital?

remember the shop real well county racing if i remember rightly used to catch the trian down on a saturday with bike and we d ride outside the shop in the pricent,that shop was the bollacks loved it bigtime,remember aswell when eddie and dave breed did a demo in merthyr leisure centre,gd old days

just been up me dads loft looking for some stuff and came across these - i knew i still had them somewhere. all thanks to the GT Tour team. considering 25 years old they havent faded one bit!  never fitted but one pad has a blob of dirt from somewhere !!! 

(saw a similar padset on a bike up at MK10 - not sure whose it was)







The Autograph  from Eddie keeps them very special for me! also, had this off the tour team.
