Well a massive thanks to Phil ( Sawzall ) and Dan ( SBD ) on the restore work for my knackered 1982 JMC Black Shadow.
Purchased this of ebay and when i got it, well it was'nt pretty, asked Phil if he could do something with it and sent it down to him, once Phil had done his thing, it was forwarded onto the best painter out there SBD, a nice new black coat added, few days later it was returned to me, some of Jim Melton's finest stickers and, well have a look at it.

Miracles performed again by the dream team, lovely stuff. I'll look forward to seeing that come together, got one here I'm slowly cobbling together too, need some inspiration. What's the plans Marty?

Black and chrome, maybe some really thin race tyres, race lite me thinks whenever i get round to it, prob next year

what about yours?

Mine's chrome, I've got a bunch of red bits (and maybe a hint of blue) so they'll creep in to match headtube logo. It's got the original black decals on frame, it'd be wrong to get rid but I want red.

Could go with black bits but got that combo already on a JMC and a few other bikes rocking chrome / black so after something different and use what's here instead of starting a shopping spree. Black seats, stems, cables, grips etc etc, a pain in the arse (££) for anything decent.

Only twice, not had much time and not sure if I enjoy driving it, looks ace but I find it a hassle compared to anything modern. I'll be honest, I may have fooked up being impulsive

Mrs wants to learn to drive this summer, may get her an mx5 or z3 with the money so I can knob about too when it's warm.

Yep, I like them and trust them, last couple of cars I've had have been 320's. Wish I'd bought one now, I like Z3's for their hairdresser image, be ok for pottering in. No room for the dog, that was the problem, MGB got a little bench.
