Burner info wanted.
« on: August 23, 2005, 12:44 AM »
My first BMX was a Burner, but I can't remember what one it was.  It had a silver painted frame, with blue parts.  From what I remember blue Arayas, Suntour stem. Around '83.  Anyone help me out with a name and maybe some pics for a trip down memory lane?

Cheers,
Rich

Andy

Rich,

sounds to me like you had an Ultra Burner, available in black and gold which seemed more common or blue and silver.

They were pertty well speced

I will sort you out some pics, can probably get you a frame and forks to if you want

Andy

Ultra Burner - that's it.  It's all coming back now.  Sheared fork dropouts learning 180's out of the resevoir at ROM, crack around the BB jumping out the halfpipe, those seatposts made from scaffold poles.  Thanks for the offer Andy but the memories are best left distant and hazy (no offence Burner boys).
My bike through a series of swaps and blags ended up as this - spot the 1 part that remained from the burner.....

Come on can't be that hard.  The fact that all the original stuff was blue rules out most of it.......

Use of an Old School Forum built by yours truly.

Unfortunately the small print states that you have to share it with about 300 other BMX nutters  ;D
