Did they ever come chrome plated?  Anyone ever had them chromed?  :)

Yes.

The pro-class II were originally available in chrome and came fitted with chrome hubs, chrome spokes and black alloy nipples  :daumenhoch:

I haven't heard of many success stories at all with re-chroming alloy rims - it didn't exactly work greatly back in the day but these new "eco friendly" chroming processes of today which people are having trouble with don't seem to suit alloy at all  :-\

I've had some alloy rims chromed before and they came out great ... i'll take these pro class down there and see what they say .. cheers  :daumenhoch:

There's nowt wrong with Chrome Araya 7X , JP ???

Mine are OG chrome and minto  :daumenhoch:

Were the Chrome Pro class rims the steel ones ?

I had a set of NOS alloy silver ones, had them chromed with london chromers, came out perfect, no pitting , looked factory.
