Tim March MRD March Racing Developments

Thought i share some of this old stuff i collected over 30 year ago and some how held on to them for all this time

I have loads of BMX mags and Brochures

Not sure how i got these and what they are. Are they the Art work?? for the brake protectors they are on clear plastic and printed black also the decal for number plates and brake protectors

Tim March lived in Dorchester Rd, Poole, Dorset in the 80's. i often seen him at Poole Panthers track and also driving his white Porsche 911 around town also remember him having big foot Toyota Hiluxe

I believe this was a new housing development in Poole around 1985 -1987 he must have just brought it Cherita court, Poole, Dorset

Just as Phil "Sawzall" loves SJH, you'll be meeting Steve "Animal" any minute now posting this up, as him and Phil are the kings of real serious resto on here and he is a quite large MRD fan. I think he owns the red bike in the poster as a matter of fact...... :smitten:

Just got my first couple of MRD's too, so I'm converting slowly :2funny:
Still limping......

Cool stuff! I raced in Poole and know Tim but not best mates lol. He still pops in to see my mate offen. The brake guard things look like print templates! Maybe you could go in to repro some decals for us ! Or make the whole thing! I'm sure Tim would not mind lol. He has been at a track over here in wareham recently and now adays he is the one with the shovel shaping the jumps! I hear that he had a re union with ruffle in the last couple of days!

The red bike in the poster Spen is a Birmingham wheels built frame. Animal owns an XL pro MRD frameset.  :smitten:

Tim looks a bit different now  :LolLolLolLol:
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Welcome in  ;) thats stuff is pucka  :4_17_5: yep The MRD XL-Pro I have could possibly b the one in the background behind his Porche  ::) I finished it in the colour scheme that it is, based on a memory of that Picture of the birmingham wheels framed bike he rode  ;) Shame I couldn't rechrome it but I now prefere the second best option much more  :smitten:

would also love a SRE F&F of my own 2 restore someday  :coolsmiley:

I asked him a few questions via facebook after listening to his podcast with Dale Holmes. He replied straight away - Can't wait for part 2
