I need one and also spotted this a few weeks back. Be fooked if I'm being taken the p*ss out of on postage. I also notice on his site that there are 2 sets of prices on most things. You click on the item at say £18, then it amazingly jumps a few quid and postage on top when you reach the checkout page.

You seem to live on a different planet to the rest of us. How you justify £7.99 postage on something that only costs £1.79 to post recorded delivery is beyond me.

If you read the listing it says at the bottom that UK Recorded / Courier is £2.99....

When I started in BMX building again, I found out a lot about this guy by reading posts and talking to others about him. Now I will NEVER use him again.

Keep up the great posts guys so ALL newbies can read this too

"Shipping to Europe, USA & rest of world only £7.99, Air Mail

UK recorded/courier £2.99"

If its a case of somebody advertising something misleading I can agree with the need to make other people aware, but a potts bolt at 9.99 with a 2.99 postage fee is a waste of bandwidth and oxygen

You are correct that in the body of the description it says its Â£2.99 for postage to the UK... I didn't read down that far as I click on the postage details link...( STOOPID IN KNOW ) but if he can't use Ebay properly and get the amount he states in the description to match the amount he posts in the 'postage section' after selling as many items as he has then you can expect people to be confused.

Its up to me if I choose to waste 'bandwidth and oxygen' ... just as its yours if you choose to click on my link and make a comment.

and got offered a free Oddy one off a top Radster

get yours on ebay and undercut every other bu**er.

... just make sure you list your postage as £2.99...or £7.99... or free... depending on where you click or how far down you read

You can wrap it up any way you want and whinge about it not being in such and such a place or it should be here, or there or blah blah blah, the main point is THE POSTAGE AMMOUNT IS LISTED VERY CLEARLY IN THE AUCTION. Its even written in LARGE TYPE so you dont MISS IT.

Maybe your the type of person that likes to NOT read an auction description? perhaps words offend you in some way and you prefer to look at the pretty pictures? whatever the reason its your oversight not his, so really you look a right mug by :

pointing out shill bidding (which has a direct impact on peoples wallets) is not exactly the same thing as pointing out that you cant read an ebay auction properly (which acheives nothing other than a red face for the OP).....
