Yep, custom made. I bought a TS from the US about a year ago for cheap as it had a fair few issues... couple of dents, seat tube had a post stuck in it and had been butchered in an attempt to remove it. The brake bridge had also got a few stokes of a saw by the looks of it and needed filling in a bit.
Sent it off to a friend who had it for a while before i decided to do something different with it. Spoke to a couple of people about doing the conversion but they hadn't done them before. Then i had a talk to Chip at C4 in the US and he said they are using a new method for pit conversions where they do not splice the tubes but instead remove the welds, cut the excess and reweld at the og joins. This was the first TS he did and he says it was a lot more work than he expected.
At first i wanted it chrome but was advised that because of the repairs it wouldn't be the best candidate for that so i went with the futuristic black.
Initially had some big ideas for this build .. custom made cranks etc but for now it's all on hold .. would be nice to get it done for MK .. we shall see
