London dogs winter tour pic's
« on: December 18, 2011, 12:43 PM »
Right cos Dark Lord robbo is trying to use his mind powers on me, i have to take half an hour out and put up my pic's of the London Dogs Winter Run 2011

I'm not going to tell a story this time, but will just say a couple of points of the ride

We all thought it was going to be rainy but it stayed dry if not a little cloudy and cold
some new faces and some old crew turned up
great mix of bikes
pints drunk
nice bit of riding
big up to the NEW WAVE BOYS  :daumenhoch:
lost some rider during the day - need to slow down and wait for every one and not race on unless all know where to go
one rider took a hard hit at nelson's column
punture - but all helped
crank arm came off of guffs ride
robbo cheating in the cab
the police chase - it was like a scene in a film - great stuff
good curry
splitting up and getting lost in london for a hour
going home tired but had a good day

things need to change for next year and the group needs to stay together better - work out where the day is going and us

here are the pics of the day

Looks like you had a blast.................................just two questions:

1. Who set up the chain on the yellow GT

2. What happed to Adam's crank  ???
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

Before anyone says it, I had nothing to do with Stu's chain and as for my Crank arm, well the nut came loose and the whole arm just fell off. After a cab ride with Robbo to the Brick Lane curry house and a few more beers I decided it was ok to just loose fit it back on and ride again.
