Bullying me into feeling guilty would work normally no problem Ed, but not when I have to be the other side of the country to pick up my wife's family mate........ ;-(

Just spoke to Si and he said you were all too scary and he didn't know you well enough to turn up on his own so all three amigos are out, and all because of a flight. Sorry mate, we come to every event normally but not this time - we'll all be at the BR on the 4th though so see ya there you bunch of special people....

bit concerned that I might not be able to ride next week - been getting physio to have a dig around in my tendons for the last few months but she reckons I might have ligament damage as well as tendonitis

Going to doctors tomorrow to talk about being referred to a consultant but not looking great tbh, maybe it's just the cold but my left arm feels fooked today

so went to see the consultant today about my wrist - appears I have damaged my ligaments and have a 'laxing CMC' (or clicky thumb joint)
have to get a splint made up by the physio and wear it for at least 6 weeks, but good news is that I'm still allowed out to play - thank fook

just need to be a bit careful and stop if it starts hurting
