How can I get my avatar to fit in the box?

I cannot get it to fit in the box and still look as it is supposed to. When I resize it, it goes very pixelled and looks the sh1ts. Ive tried for about 2 hours now. Getting bored! Ad

Have you got the original on photobuket?  I would say send it me but it will get blocked by our email filters at work

Having avatar problems as well, am i being thick but wheres the send/submit box
on the profile page, still new to this pc world.
