they're really nice,good size and shape and very well made.
I don't have any originals to compare to as i sold mine back in the 90's and i'm not paying todays prices for old bars.

on saturday took a 150 mile drive to peterborough to pick up my first project,a 1989 raleigh bmx series,my last bmx was nearly 30 years ago.needs a few bits doing to it but i love it.I have even got my dad into these old bmx's he is picking up a night burner on wednesday which has been stored for over 30 years,it is in a rough state though.

New White and blue Mushroom grips came today, just need to look through past post to find out how to remove my old grips with out any damage, that reminds me i need to buy some more while i can hold of them.

Boil the kettle, fill a pint glass stolen from a boozer up (they won't break) then dunk your bar end with the first grip in for 2mins.

Make a brew with the rest of the boiling water while you wait.

Remove bar end from glass, drain water out then pull grip off from the end nearest the brake lever - it will take a moment then suddenly slide.

Repeat with second bar end into pint pot.

Drink brew whilst waiting.

Slide off second grip.

Reverse procedure to get new grips on, ie put the grip on the boiled water, let it soften up then slide it on.
