Belter! Our kid had a grifter and I had a Strika with a coaster brake in about 80 - 81ish. If I had the room and the money I'd get one.

the dreaded sturmey archer 2nd gear = neutral
bad news on my old mk1 chopper as the gear knob was missing, leaving a vicious bare metal spike pointing at your genitals (I wonder why the re-issue choppers changed to twist-grip..?)

I always wanted a grifter like my mate anthony, but ended up getting another second hand chopper

, heavy as f00k as i remember , with the bottom tubes i reckon that where voris dixon got his inspiration for the vdc freestyler
