this guy is a legend got my proclass bars rechromed cost £45 but they are superb job quoted £130 for a bmx ff (he said it would take 3 wks but i said i need it quick and i left it in friday and got them back monday ) he does all sort of plating and polishing specialising in motorbikes and clasic cars it was £100 for a nickel ff

What was the initial condition of the chrome before you sent it? ;)

i donno if it matters as far as i know everything comes off then nickel then chrome seen a ff he chromed he brought me in to see the finish it was the nuts i know he can strip chrome cause there was a harley d guy picking and dropin off some stuff and he collected some stuff had been stripped bare he said they shouldnt have been chrome in the first place looked real clean to me , i reckon he  can do whatever you want and tell you what prep you need to to if any , the only thing he did say was die cas stuff could come out pitted due to the material , its guarenteed for a year as well

yeah mate  all part of the service  mine had 2 coats of paint, rusty bits and scratches in the metal  and he said nah dont worry about that they came out absolutley brand new looking better even , all the knurls were really well defined and stuff id say your best bet is phone him up tell him what you got and what you want and he will tell you what needs doing
