Not naming names but those who really put there heart and soul into it stand out a mile, to me. Especially those repairing and recreating those special bikes that mean something to those of us who were thrilled to be doing gates next to Big Tim on a midweek night at Bournemouth, or jumping for joy at Schoff's World Superclass win.

Ones that spring to mind are Sean, Carl...& for something that has an authentic look of something you would have had BITD, Stu Stallone!!!

Julian taffs builds are aways 100% spot on perfect.
as are Costa,s GT,s.
as others have said there's a good few builders on here that can bolt a bike together.

fook me ive herd my name mentioned 3 times

maybe il show my bikes again..........NOT

anyone who puts the effort into restoring parts to there former glory rather than buying new and putting the effort to learn THEMSELVES what there building does it for me

there no secret i aint a race bike man but sawzals builds resto skills and attention to detail are off the SCALE

terrys (not cos i love u lol) hutch collection and ASH`S SE collection are SIC!!!

and jays HARO collection is something else (fook me i said HARO LOL)

and not forgetting people like SBD,sawzal, animal and del are the reason why so many builds can be completed and especially firebird Steve his art skills are second to none

I cant even narrow it down to a top 10 theres so many class builders and amazing bikes on here. RAD really is right up there as one of the best sites no doubt about it

But a mention must go out to Monkeybiscuits Mat, anyone who can build a Nomura as good as him gets my thumbs up....And although I've never met him and I'm not that much into my freestyle bikes Robbo always turns out some crackers

Being a KZ-1 fan in particular Sam (Meticulous) deserves a big shout out, the attention to detail, research and love that went into that build can only deserve respect. He has a couple of other beauty's in his loft too.

Stidds , his builds are always very thought out and clean , great mix of old / retro / new school

who else would have a cook bros. beside a slingshot beside a retro quad ? and that r&r is

also Atariager - wins award for best use of a tree in his builds

There are loads of great builders out there but for me! The list is endless really most of the bikes on rad I would like to own

Steven Costa. Seeing his builds on the museum is what got me back in to this sport

some great builders and builds over the years on this site. stock builds are awesome and when done and set up properly are sublime, but, i do prefer quirky non stock builds especially non stock builds that are true to the era. Builds that you saw back in the day with the bits on the bikes you replaced the stock bits for, either because yours broke or because it was a fad thing or because you saved your pocket money to upgrade from a suntour to a tuf-neck stem etc. Or builds that have just been built out of personal preference to satisfy the owner, when they work they are the best builds in my eyes

like i said, loads of fooking awesome builders have already been mentioned in this thread and well deserved

but, if one person has built a bike on here that i wish i'd had the opportunity to have built and owned (would love to get it on a track

) and sit it next to my builds, it would have to be doublechevrons BOSS. Love it

Big love for Dan, he makes my bikes what they are!!!

Number 1 builder for me is my turkish mate Costa, many a time I've stood in his man cave in awe of his bikes and many a time I've tried to buy them off him. The attention to detail is second to none and even though I'm a fussy git with having my parts NOS/minty or repowdered I would happily let him build me a bike!
