Ok, I know I've opened a can of worms with the title  :LolLolLolLol: but I'm sure I saw a thread somewhere on how to date gt bar, coin stamp, knurled cross bar shape etc.. But buggered if I can find it  ::).

Not at the mo, but they have an oval shape cross bar, gt coin stamp on the front left side and knurling if that helps, they measure 28x8 (roughly  :-[:daumenhoch:

They'll be early 90's bars {91 to 96) you have ,,,they were quite easily available NOS in the bag for £42 ,,,,around 3 or 4 years ago


There were earlier oval crossbar bars , but they have two straight rings of knurling ( not cross) and horizontal GT coin stamp , these date approx 86 onwards


Anything with cross knurling and a vertical GT coin stamp are  mid 90's onwards  I think

Someone else will confirm or correct this though  :)


Only GT bars  that have no knurling at all  ,,,are from 1984 and before  :daumenhoch:

so looks like 86 onwards :)
