As a few of you know, I landed this mk2 none lugged S&M dirt bike yesterday

Stripped it down tonight and gave it a light oxalic acid bath

After a bit of elbow grease,it started to clean up

This is only a couple of hours work, forks are pretty bad & need another O/A bath and they're good to go..

Good work, looks much more presentable now. Build it up as a rider and give it some welly.

Same down tube decal.but looks like its got lugs. How do you date s&m bikes. If mine is a mk2, what year is it?
