So then Yorkshirefolk, I was in On Board tonight and the work has started on the new ramps. The monster vert wall is nearly ready and they're starting on the new jump-boxes straight afterwards so that will be two great skateparks on our doorstep

Belated session report from last Wednesday,
Even thou the yoot are off school the park was empty my 8 o'clock
The park felt really strange as the owner had fixed a massive step up on the top of the first big jump box

Which ruined one of our favourite riding lines

Anyway spent most of the time riding the small volcano till I fell off yet again

fooking my ankle up , thinking i'd broken it I hobbled around on it for the last 3 days wondering if to go the A&E ,
Just starting to get some movement in it so should be good for next weeks session.

Jim was on it as usual and the park staff and one of the local lads were blasting out of the double jump boxes off the big roll in and practicing front flips in the foam pit, top stuff.

indeed , only temp though for the scooter rats, will be gone when the transitions get re worked , got a poof board screwed in place and still could'nt get over it , so it better be gone

last neet were quiet , very quiet the park was empty at 8

Wadz was nursing last weeks ankle injury but still went for the mini volcano "mr smooth is the name"

jump box still has the fookin stupid box on it so the fave line is still out ,so i stuck with trying to clear the mini jump box most of the night and messed a bit on the big quater , all good

Got little bit of the script off one o the staff and it's sounding like a large rework is in the pipeline after the srotes are back at school, all just plans at the mo but, jump boxes being redone and more added to make more of trails like set up with the vert wall being extended side ways which will include a resi quater , foam pit being moved to the little square bit on the side , to allow for jump boxes after the vert wall/quaters, other stuff being moved around to get more flo round the park,

Back on it last night , real good session if a little busy,
Well happy as I manage to clear newthe small volcano and the small jump box nice and smooth

Even got a fist bump from the flippy whippers for my efforts ,
Roll on Saturday Notts sess.

the fist bump of the yoot was well deserved though mr smooth

the new lay out of the place is good though opened the place up a little more , and split it into lines with a few ramps in each line

Top bombing with the Yorkshire pensioners trick team

Was a tad busy but good to be back in the saddle...... for the first ten minutes until I resumed my chief floor-polishers position

After a couple of practise runs under Old Father Time's usual goading I got over the new midi-sized volcano and tried a second time........... oops and ouch

Gray got the best view , said you smoothed out the mini volcano disappeared behind the big jump box n never came out

still tougher than a gnome's old boots is Spen straight up an back at it

we've got friday saturday and sunday night left to try to find a quiet night , fookin scooter rats , n ignorant flippy snake whippers , just no etiquette

pensioners were pushing each other last night empty park after 8 , few tumbles but with more pads than bones all is good

the word was a resounding mid school YEAH!! the pointy ramp was tamed

What a session , felt like we made some progress , not only cleared the big volcano but cleared it 4 times on the same run,
YEAH!!! and a fist bump form Jim , big smile on my face

back on it last neet after few weeks off , Short report ,

Wadz scared off the two locals riders with his shiny helmet before i got there and the lone scooter kids dad was not hp standing round in the cold so by 7.30 we had the place to ourselves ,

scooting round on a new ride seemed ok

, the battle cry for the night was SQUEEEEEEEEEEK!!! the sound of wadz hitting the front brake in an attempt to nose tap every ramp in the park

, myself , i decided missing all the downslopes and trying to land on the flat was a good idea

much to wadz's amusement
