Picked this up last week from Bof. He told me a few Radsers have owned it. So been wondering who's had it and to see if anyone can give me any info on the head tube sticker (pretty sure it's not OG). Gonna stay as is for the time being but thinking about eventually getting it re-powdered and wouldn't mind getting the same stickers made up.

Think it looks cool as fook with Mr Magoo up front.

Where's the serial no. on these ? Not stripped it yet for a proper look but does'nt seem to be in the obvious places.

I would say its probably a 93

Spot on bikes for riding

I have another Hyper Metro in trans purple that needs building............

Who the fook's Mr Magoo apart from an animated old pensioner with eyesight difficulties.

Your trans purple one sounds nice Andy. Not stripped it yet but Bof reckons this used to be purple too.

He was a member on here,used to race down south i think

Yeah think there was some trace of purp around the bb,mine is staying,got the matching bars too

Hello...
That well may have been my old one..I remember whoever I sold it to thought the purple was a bit too much and stripped it..Shame..If it was mine, it was Dingo's and before that possibly Mattdub's ..Definitely a bit of a Rad trail there..

I think I may have the serial number too, so I'll dig it out..
That may well be chrome under all the paint (if you strip it go slowly and you might be lucky!!)
I've got some OG Decals around somewhere too, I was saving for another one (I'd love to get a 24", but they're kinda rare..)so give me a shout if you get going on it.
As said before..They ride really well, enjoy.

Thanks for the info. No chrome under this one I'm afraid but never mind. nic your old purple one's a belter it's a shame it got stripped.

I'm definitely interested in your set of stickers if your not gonna have any use for em'. I'll give you a shout once xmas is out way pal.

Pretty sure Del does these decals as well if you are still looking for some. Strange that there is no chrome under yours. Unless it was originally black, all their other colours were trans colours over chrome. As has been said before, they are great bikes.

Stripped it down last week as it goes and there are traces of purple inside the bb. Someone must have had the chrome/purple stripped off and had it coated. Don't think it's powder though, seems like some kind of plastic type coating. Was gonna just rebuild as is but thinking a fresh powder job and new stickers is in order. Didn't think Del did 90's decals.
Black with purple stickers and a few purple bits maybe.

Nic i think i have your old one,purple with a chrome fork,has some of the bits on it that are in your pic when you had it. will try to get some pics

Decent bikes these. Brian Foster and Eric carter rode for Hyper around this era.

Yeah think its yer old one ,got same headset,brake,seatclamp on it

Got it off a guy called Chewy,who raced it in the North region o/s
