OK to make sure everybody knows the score..

Please note that the MK14 starts on Saturday 16th August, if you are planning on attending on the Friday then you will not be permitted to access the track or camping area.

Friday is for the admin team to get the site ready for the weekend i.e. marquees up, toilets and skips delivered etc etc.

So to reiterate, please do not arrive for the weekend on Friday as the show, track and camp site will not be available.

Don't get me wrong but this is said every year, we turned up on Saturday morning last year and waited at the barrier for it to be unlocked only to drive down to the helipad and find 90% of it was full up already. When we asked others how they managed to get in they just replied they turned up on Friday, drove in and set up camp.

So are we saying your not going to allow this to happen this year?

What we are saying is that Friday is for admin and display organisers, MK BMX club to set everything up. However it would really help if people didn't turn up, drive in and set up camp.

This year I will try to ensure that the gates are locked so people cannot access the site on Friday, however considering I and all the other guys organising things have 2000 other jobs to do all weekend you may find that we are not always able to cover this.

Ok that is fair enough, I guess those that take a chance and try to turn up on Friday will be doing it at a risk of being turned away.
