Craig Campbell Pro-Lite
« on: March 09, 2014, 03:49 PM »
Had this hanging around for the last 4-5 years and been meaning to get it sorted.

Finally got off my arse and sent it over to SBD for paint and got it back today.

Soooo pleased with how this turned out. As far as memory serves, this blue is spot on to the shade my original CC Pro-lite came in.

BIG thanks to Dan for returning this back to it's former glory!!

Lovely frame and forks, I had a powder blue CC a while back which I built as a rider rep.
It is a beautiful and rare frameset imo and they don't turn up that often!
If that is a dk stem you need to lose it imo to do the frame justice. What bars are they out of interest?
I might dig out a pic of mine if you want to see it for inspiration...

Was yours the one with the Lavender Tuffs and Uni seat?

Not sure what the issue is with the DK stem? Iconic stem that was used by loads of riders BITD...

yep, that's the one mate. dk stems are o.k, just not on this bike. It's only my opinion, don't take it too seriously. It's your bike, build it how it makes you happy. I think every CC should be built as a rider rep!
Will look forward to seeing how this turns out

That looks great mate. You might want to shorten that rear cable or run a rotor to compliment the potts mod. Great either way though, do you have more pics?

I'd get rid of that Skyway Grabber to be honest, doesn't do the build any favours.

..........Then get it in the post to me!!
