That was thrown in the box when my Nat Pro arrived. Had it sat there since and will probably never build it. I did drop my Stingray off at the paint shop this morning however  :daumenhoch:

Thanks for the comments so far guys. Never built a Mini before (let alone two!) so this is something new for me.

Having had a nose at a few Mini examples over on the Museum I had my heart set on a pair of Vector V Mini bars for the red build; not an easy item to source! I love how they look and after much searching I have just taken delivery of a perfect pair from the US. I already have a pair of minty Uni Hand Grenade I's so they will be going on as well, along with a polished MX hinged clamp.

Trial build is starting to look just as I'd hoped.

I'm constantly amazed how the nos stuff looks here.

Thanks mate. I love the red one too. I'm sticking pretty much to the letter with the Scott Beaumont build to make it as close as possible to his original Team WHEELS bike. In fact he has found out a load of his old parts for it which i'm well chuffed about.

That also means I can mess about with the red build a little and make it look just how i want it  :daumenhoch:

Popped over to visit Scott Beaumont yesterday and collected a load of his original parts for the Mini build. Quite a haul!!

Two parts of 165 TA cranks, one with an egg chainring which he experimented with BITD, and another drilled and lightened one.

Shimano DX seatpost.

His race rims from his Mini, ARAYA skinnies with GT hubs, radially spoked. Any more info on these hubs appreciated - are they early G? Dating?

Several Suntour flip-flop sprocket pairs.

His original aluminium CW Mini bars!

Tuf Neck and DK Mini stems.

SCP Rippers padset (rare!!)

MX1000 in silver.

Pretty chuffed with that lot  :slayer:
