Hi guys

I've just sent a payment via paypal to friend/family, and had a 30p fee added to it     ???

I know its not a huge amount, but it appears they've had enough of people on forums such as this using the system to avoid the fees

Has anyone else experienced this ??

It depends if your pp account is linked to a bank account, debit card or a credit card Neil.

If you've got funds in your pp balance there should be no hidden extras. If there isn't enough in your pp balance it dips into your bank account for a small fee.  :daumenhoch:

Its always been linked to my bank account... and never had fees added

This is the first time, the only time I've ever had fees added was when it was sent overseas... foreign currency

I've just sent some money around 1/2hr ago via friends/family and not been charged ( I had money in my PP account tho)

Didn't have to do that fella.... I was more curious than bothered about the money... thinking Paypal had closed the door on "FREE" money transfers etc
