Bought Jellied Eels a few years ago to give them a try.... from Harrods! Possibly the most disgusting thing i've ever eaten. I like a bit of pie & mash though... I went to a more tourist friendly gaff just off Carnaby Street in December. Mother Mash http://www.mothermash.co.uk/ - really enjoyed it. Mrs DTTDB wouldn't venture into a traditional pie & mash shop, but she liked it there. As you know Griff, my favourite London eatery is the 24 Beigel Bake on Brick Lane http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beigel_Bake
Hot salt beef with mustard. So good I buy 2 at a time

The Gun pub is going to be my lunchtime stop - from there it's only a few minutes to either Brick Lane or the Old Truman Brewery (usually a nice selection of gourmet street food there

)
Once we get there I can take a group over there for a forage

All I'm bothered about is that there are plenty of lovely radsters coming, we can always do a rider count on the day
