Shit maan... me and Asa will be cruising round the UK in a camper van when this is on.

We'll be landing at MK in it though so it's not all bad.

To be fair other than the ride up deans gate most of the ride will be pedestrianised

It's a shame this seems to be the only ride that's on the demise (being the first) I turned up last year and there was just the 7 I'd brought along no one from the forum went! Not even the organisers (due to family issues) so this year I thought I'd give it a go, I know MK is next week but I thought a few of the northern monkeys might have made it, there's about 35 going (via Facebook) but not too many of the guys that kicked it all off on RAD, for those that can't make it sorry to here that , the rest of you try your best it's a great CITY n it'll be a great day no matter how many riders we have , there'll be plenty of photos that I'll post up after for you all to view n not comment

I think it's just been unfortunate this year tbh Jono , last year was different as there was no real momentum behind the ride and people werent sure if it was happening etc

I for one think the RADchester ride should have a date in the calendar and im sure next year it will be back to how it used to be .

On the other hand , the 2nd Liverpool ride this year had 18 or so on it and turned out to be one of the best rides out for me and many of the others over the last few years , so bigger doesnt always mean better

. I for one actually prefer the smaller gatherings , how it was at the beginning suits me fine

Know what you're saying Joff it's not numbers that concerns me the best ride I've been on ever Radport 2013 pissed it down all day about a dozen of us but got to know everyone sat round a couple of tables getting mullered so numbers ain't the issue, this is a RAD ride n shouldn't end up being another Fb ride should be a flagship ride for RADbmx, nobody does rides like the northerners n RADchester should be a defo on everyone's calendar great bars mainly pedestrianised n the very first RAD ride. I appreciate dates are everything but wanted canal st in and August bank holiday is gay pride so didn't want to do that again n miss it out next year I'll arrange it for end of May bank holiday and radbury beginning of May bank holiday so it'll help some out and won't need to wait for MK dates for August ...... Jono organising a ride 9 month in advance !!!! I'll have Griff giving it me soon !!!!

Sorry Jono, this is the only ride I always try and make if I am not on holiday. I only got home about 2hrs ago after nearly a month away so just can't get there bud as my life is in boxes in the back of my car still.......

Sorry i couldn't make it this year. I'm in Manchester at the moment, bit am with my friend who is over here visiting from Cologne. She isn't really into BMX. Might see you all around in passing sometime this afternoon/evening. Have a great and safe one
