I've just picked up the wheels after building and truing, by my LBS.

So, after a hard day baby minding, I had my tea, and gave myself an hour in the cave.

I fitted the tyres and tubes to the wheels, and added some simple alloy valve caps. I've fitted them just as a mock up at the minute.

Cheers Steve, I'm hoping to ride this on every ride next year to get it weathered, so that it does look very BITD.

I can't wait to get brake rub on that back rim, and skid on the tyre.

So, I want to ride this and the survivor parts I need aren't showing up anywhere (but I don't hunt too hard), so I've ordered a repop calliper from Alan's, and some chrome chainring bolts off eBay.

I couldn't get a repop left hand lever in black either, unless I bought a pair. I would have preferred an OG survivor Tech 3, but again, not much up for sale lately. So, as a short-term measure, I took one of the spare copy levers off the shelf in the Man Cave, and took the sandpaper to it, to get the used look.
