Ok, so at last years event the admin bought far too much beer and off loaded the excess the following day.

There was also loads of full cans and bottles dotted around the Dog and Duck, so please this year, drink your ale and put your empties in the black bags and bins provided.

We have also secured 5 barrels of the lager from Geoff 'Stillriding' - so there will be more beer on tap.

This year, rather than dipping into funds, we are looking into donations for behind the bar, so please if possible could you bring a bottle, donate a crate, sling a gin or drop shot off before the lake ride.

Of course we will do a beer run, but your conruibutions will be appreciated.

we wil have ice to cool down all beer donations , as well as cider etc
be great to have a fully stocked bar for everyone

Last year I brought a pack of Lager & a pack of Bitter. I noticed that late on the bitter was still there un touched. Is worth having an "I'm not touching that muck" or a drinks "wish" list to make sure everyone is suitably lubricated with the donations. Obviously magnums of Lambrini & 100 year old Malt whisky will be ignored

I've not shut up about that Wrexham lager since last year. It was good stuff

well what happens is Steve, as you're a site supporter you simply walk up to the bar and ask for whatever you would like to drink........then whoever it is behind said bar gives it to you (unless we have run out of said drink, then you will have to choose something else)

It's all good mate, just come up and get a drink

We will gladly welcome donations in the jar or boxes of cans to keep stocks up though
