The events of last Saturday have shaken the BMX community to the core and what we must do now is try and prevent anything like this happening again . Keeping groups together and the wearing of helmets are both a step in the right direction .Theres nothing we can do that can change what happened in London but if there's anything good to come from this it has to be a step in the right direction .

I know for a fact the lads on the London ride , me included have seen this as a massive wake up call .

Agree with everything you've said Joff. I'll never stop riding, but the events of the last few days have made me realise how fragile we all can be. I'll be wearing my helmet from now on

I could not get one 4 weeks ago

The only place near by was a caravan at haven Thorpe park

I know of a place near a fishing lake but it's 13 miles away. Not sure whether to drive home, or drive to the lake and camp out.

Friday Night: 7pm start at The Signal Box - The Smallest Pub on the Planet. Music by Dirty Olive, 70s 80s 90s rock. Lincolnshire sausage buns available. Meet and greet Eddie, Martin and Bill. Get in early for signatures and merchandise. T-shirts, posters, stickers and raffle tickets.

Saturday:

11am at Pleasure Island Concourse (DN35 0PL) free parking all day. Merchandise and raffle tickets available all day. Ride with the stars of Rad The Movie. Flatland with the kings of freestyle.

5pm Trophies for Best Kids Bike, Eddie's Favourite, Martin's Favourite, Bill's Favourite & Best Of Ride.
