Screamin' Wheels, Tokyo
« on: May 13, 2016, 01:56 PM »
One of my favourite old school haunts is Screamin’ Wheels, a shop based in Naka-Meguro, Tokyo. You’ll be able to read more about the shop and its owner in the upcoming edition of Rad Rag, but to whet your appetite, here’s a bunch of photos that I took on a visit there the other weekend.

Part 2 of the pics to follow later! :daumenhoch:

Looks more like a museum than a shop.
I guess he is kind of living the dream,I often wonder how people make a living out of niche shops like this.
I have always wanted to own a second hand record shop, but I wonder how I would make the consistent money every week that I do in the job I have now.
Great place though would love to visit !!

I've already been through them! :daumenhoch:

Yeah, they sell stuff both in the shop and online, though you'll need deep pockets for the old school goodies! That Kuwi was a special paintjob to match the owner's car:-

Cool pics, and it looks like a great place. I was wondering if they actually sold stuff, and how they manage to survive. I love places like these  :daumenhoch:

Great post Mick. It's an amazing looking place. I've sent a few Japanese parts his way in the past. Unfortunately buying from Japan is an expensive business :/
