Haro Master build
« on: March 17, 2017, 12:23 PM »
Hi All

Thought I'd put this on a build thread my first time doing this so be gentle .
I got this a few weeks ago it's my first Haro and only my 4th build I don't think I'll be doing this to factory spec as I haven't got a unlimited cash flow but I'll try to do best I can not to turn it in to a clown bike First thing is the colour some of the paint and decals are OG but it's pretty scratched up and the main decal on frame is definitely not OG which my pics don't really show I love the neon yellow colour scheme on these so still undecided . I will be looking for some advice along the way as setting up gyro and brakes will be an issue as it's all a bit new to me being a 87 model anyway I'll post some more pics of parts as they come along some repop some not hopefully

Nice frameset  :daumenhoch:

From what I can see from the pics I would keep it OG, look forward to seeing it built up

Keep it OG! It's lovely as it is.

I have the original kneesavers for this if you go down that route  :daumenhoch:

I like these later two tone Haro's. I'd go with the standard coloured parts silver and blacks. Did some of these have yellow decals?  :-\ Some yellow cables would look cool though to add a dash of colour.  :daumenhoch:

It will look fantastic as a survivor. If you may have any questions regarding gyro's, please feel free to ask!  :daumenhoch:

Got my Master back today along with my Quad from SBD I intended to keep it OG but once I removed some of the non OG decals It looked like it had been re painted in parts so I thought WTF do it how you really wanted .
So got it done in the neon yellow and had the forks chromed at Leigh metal polishers who have done an amazing job thanks to the rad members for putting me on to them . Now I've got put the decals on which I'll probably make an arse of can't see it up and running for a while still need a few parts too many to list

Please don't shoot me down for not going OG as I'm like a f***n magpie I like shiny things 👍

Almost finished now just need to get a chain and set up brakes was holding out for some peregrine cranks to finish it off but gave up when I seen what they were going for so opted for some repop group ones instead . Think it looks better than the 2017 one pictured next to it
