the reason that there wasn't many about even back in 1998 was the bikes price, for mongoose it was expensive and looked over built/ugly >:D mongoose had become a bit of a joke only making budget and intermediate bikes, and lost all respect within the freestyle industry much like GT/DIAMONDBACK/REDLINE :'( especially with all new rider owned companies spring up seeming ever other month, like WTP making mid to top end completes that were so much better ;) ;) ;) ;)

anyway it looks well built and very solid :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley:

Ha ha yeah i know dude but for me i was only 14 and this was a bike that i saw DMC riding and so i wanted one but like you say it was well out of my price range
I didnt really start buying rider owned stuff until early 2000s when i started working

the 91/92 hooligan was my dream bike or a haro 92 master, the 1st gen hooligan was a beast of a bike with good angles and strong 8) 8) 8) 8)

I'd argue the DMC looked better than the AKA that replaced it though  :LolLolLolLol:
