The journey continues....

The journey takes another step. And a large one that may divide opinions even more than before.
As much as I love this bike the repop front tuff and repop grips always got on my tits. So thanks to Bernard and a great price on some Og cams in a normally less than favourable colour for most but right up my street. The grip correctness vw as solved. Although they need some grubby mitts on them as they're way too clean. And the front wheel has been solved with a UKAI speed line. Probably just a temporary fix for now as the rear has some issues I need to fix. But finally she sits nicely with the right parts. Those that have followed this 7 year (so for) journey and have always loved my 12 year old thinking about this build may well have a turning moment now there's spokes involved. Lol. But as of yet no orphan fronts with some nice brake rub and battle scars have appeared at a real price worth paying. So a spoked front it is for now.

Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Love it. Loads of character.
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. Miss you loads Dad

This one looks like it's telling a story. That is what I really love about it. Most bikes of my older brothers mates looked pretty much like that bitd.  :daumenhoch:

That's how all BMXs in the 80s looked after a couple of years.

Looks great  :4_17_5:

Takes me back does that, proper old school look a la Paul Roberts and his old Supergoose!

For a short while bitd I ran the same wheel combo only in reverse, a Tuff on the front and a 7x on the rear!

Better to crash and burn than fade away
