Lucky lucky bast*rd :-)
« on: October 08, 2017, 08:02 AM »
I generally don't win things ... with the exception of a DangerMouse tea set from Look-In in the late 70s ... and I was even happy about that  :)

So when the charity raffles come around you try and do your bit and chip in to a good cause ... so when Chris & Zach held a raffle for a nice Haro frame I did my bit a bought a couple of tickets ... chosen charity helped ... no expectation to win held.

But someone has to win ... and this time it was me :-) a 21.5" Haro Lineage Team Sport frame ... one of one 2 at this length and one of only one in this colour  :4_17_5:

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

215 tickets were sold for the raffle raising over £1000 for CALM (male suicide prevention) and Orchid (male
Cancer research) charities so well done Chris Job and Zach Shaw for organising that.

Karma dictated that I should flow something back to them, which I have and thats going to get raffled at a later date  :daumenhoch:

So my message is WELL DONE to anyone who chips in and buys tickets for these legit fundraising raffles ... next time it could be you .... I hope it is  ;)

Sorry Chris but the no raffles rule was set way before I even joined  :radbmxsmilie:

For every genuine one there's a bunch of shady coonts who only give the winning ticket to their mates (but in any case it was dictated by PayPal) glad to know this one did some good though

:4_17_5:     love that , probs the only frame that would pursuade me to ride a haro again,

agree with Rob though far to long for a rotund one , when you get fed up of it nose diving on all the jumps you can pass it on to an old git who likes long frames  ;) ;) ;) :daumenhoch: :-* :-*
