1980 Mk1 Tange Hot Heart

I know I'm not the most prolific builder and I've had to let a few projects go due to challenging circumstances over recent years but I'm slowly getting a few things together and hope to make a start on a new build soon :)

Cheers Lads. Knowing me there'll be a few changes along the way :/
It's Tange made Nick but they're maybe a bit thinner on the ground than the KZ's ;)

Got the frame back, looking lovely from Dan yesterday. Had the decals in from Del so made a little start. Big thanks to both :)

I'm still looking for some gold alloy bars and some black rims. Undecided on the drive set up as well so it'll be a while before it's finished. Really happy with how it's shaping up though :)

Thx Nick. Yeah, not exactly a radical departure for me but I had to have it as it was an earlier one. I kind of miss the other one as well

Thanks for the kind comments lads ;)

I've given myself a few options on the tyres. I got the yellow Comp II Stadium, thinking I'd use black wheels but it's looking like they're going to be gold now so I got some black alternatives in (black wall IRC Super MX and tan wall IRC BMX Racer Z1). I'll just have a look and see what suits when the wheels are sorted.

It's still slow going but hopefully the wheels will arrive today so I can push on a bit :)

No luck yet finding some Jap branded, gold alloy bars so just stuck these Nitto B-701 on for now:

Enjoying watching this come together Paul  :daumenhoch:

I like the bars - I reckon they tie the forks in. Have you tried a chrome seatpost on her ?

Z1's will look sexy  :coolsmiley:

Hey Paul that's really one good looking set up!
I love that old bmxaction (add?) picture of the kid on his pink hot heart! Which it reminds me of.

Sorry for the lack of replies and updates. First time it's happened but I've lost a bit of motivation for the build. I've got some wheels to refurb so hopefully I'll get back on it in the new year

Think this is the shot Yannick. Aiming for a similar sort of vibe but just a bit less colourful :D
It's got some really nice parts on it :)
