GT forkstanders gen2 question...
« on: September 30, 2017, 08:41 PM »
Hi everbody,

today I've been at a BMX-event, they also had a show and shine contest there. Anyways, I 've spotted three bikes that also had the "same" forkstanders I have...GT generation-2 .
What got me thinking was theirs didn't have a number stamped on the inside (mine says 709). What's the difference between gen.2 with a number and those without one.

I guess one with the stamped number is a 90's reissue version, but don't know for sure?

Thanks in advance for educating me.  :daumenhoch:

Cheers! Andy

Maybe I do Nick, but this happens sometimes if one tries to figure things out on his own.  :-\

My NOS chrome are marked 708. The painted ones don’t have any numbers at all.
