you got people trying to sell Elina snake post seats for £150-200

raleigh burner araya wheels in shite condition £250

looking on there and listening to what people say are these the prices people are getting on farce book ?

who knows where there getting there prices from doing my head in cant get anything now takes forever to complete a build seen stuff sit for weeks over priced then when finished the dickheads put it back on for an even higher price right now there is a set of GT pro bars for 600 quid bargain although they are the holy grail whatever the f**k that means as everything is a holy grail these days .mind you there is still the odd bargain to be had but vey few and far between

I have been watching a few bonkers ones lately. White Elina lightning bolt: BIN £320. It got bid up to £189 reserve not met!
Oh and there are a pair of Ukai Speedlines in blue for BIN £500, just to let you know that you can have mine for £499 any day

I do like a look on eBay for a good laugh, it’s the best place to go if you’re looking for rare, holy grail, NOS, or my favourite “VW Show” parts or bikes. While I’d much rather buy anything I need on here I’ve found Facebook is much easier to to find parts.
I had a wanted ad on here for a few parts, nothing fancy just run of the mill stuff for a few weeks. I bit the bullet and posted a wanted on Facebook, sorted in 10 minutes and at good prices.

Don’t get me wrong there’s a lot of shite on there but if you’re doing a build it’s the best place to be.

Prices are either crazy or on FB a lot of dealing is behind the scenes stuff so you don’t know if the seller has been raped or not...
case in point ..
I was after a helmet and prepared to bid .. the guy stopped the auction and relisted it for £20 more ....
Seen someone selling a nice trucker hat (nos) but for £60!!!! Bin .. He then states he’s got 5 more of them for those stupid enough to want to buy from such an idiot at that insane price !
It’s depressing.. I’d love to keep building but the scene and greedy gets have killed it for us all
