Grips need gripping
« on: April 02, 2018, 08:41 PM »
Hi guys,
I managed to get a spare half hour to do a bit more on the bike this weekend, come across a bit of a problem regarding the new grips, They came with end caps and a rubber bung to fit inside to then screw end caps in place with a threaded screw and a nut to go on the inside with the bung, the problem I had was I couldnt do the bung up tight enough to expand to then grip inside the tube of the bars, it was just spinning plus now one has found its way on down into the bars!! Is there anything out there people know or even use to fit these?
Cheers!

wrap a bit of old inner tube around the bung and they should grip.
