my old Skyway TA
« on: April 01, 2018, 12:32 PM »
Restored my old jap TA  to how I used to ride it in the 80's
Went with rider parts as frame has a few scratches on it

always ran a weinmann rear brake,so Icould stop with tuffs  :LolLolLolLol: -just used a oddy pozi stop to neaten it up instead of an old crappy cable hanger with the seatclamp

most of parts i've had since bitd-bars/wheels/cranks/pedals
nos parts are-tyres/grips/pedal caps/chain/seatclamp
rest bought off evilbay or off here
Parts list:
F+F:skyway TA -jap k series model
WHEELS:skyway tuffs alloy hub with shimano freewheel/gt tyres
DRIVETRAIN:kenin 175mm cranks/shimano dx pedals /tioga spider/ybn chain
STEERING:skyway ez handlebars/gt stem/gt epoch headset/repo a'me tris as it will be rolled on this summer
BRAKING:acs mini mountain locking levers/oddy front caliper dated'85/rear caliper weinmann 750 /skyway freestyle blocks
SEATING:kuwi dominater seat/generic layback post/oddy pozi-stop clamp

This is the first Skyway mallet-stem I've seen. Didn't know they had one.
