Thanks to Dan Simon I’ve finally managed to complete my SE made Hoffman collection with the one and only real black 1993 Condor known to still exist - my previous one was originally chrome and been powdercoated. Believed by some to be Mat’s old bike due to some dropout damage as seen in early videos of him riding it, but doubted by others. Who knows and who really cares. I’d only ever seen team riders with them, Mat, Mirra, Psycho so take your pick... If anyone knows any different or knows the location of another please feel free to comment as I would love to know how many there actually were for real

Spec is as follows:

1993 SE made Hoffman Condor frame.
1993 SE made Hoffman Condor forks.
1993 SE made Hoffman Patriot bars.
1993 SE made Hoffman Micky Post
Black and White ODI mushroom grips.
TNT fs stem.
Dia Compe Tech 77 levers.
Dia Compe Nippon front calliper.
Dia Compe AD990 rear brake.
White Dia Compe fs brake blocks.
Odyssey gen 1 gyro.
Odyssey Z77 Saddle.
YST headset.
Redline single pinch half wrap cranks.
Fusion chainring.
DX style pedals.
Peregrine Superpro wheels.
Cheng Shin freestyle tyres.
Dicta 16t freewheel.
Izumi chain.

93 may to most be considered mid school, but these early Condors were very much an upgraded, updated old school bike. Ad990’s, nippons, Super pro’s, redline flights, odyssey gyro’s, 1” threaded headsets and TNT stems were all 80’s tech on a beefed up frame.

Haha two pegs or four though?

I do actually have some nos fusion ones I’ll dig out and stick on, should complement the disc real well.

All my other recent Condors and Big Daddy’s builds up until now have all been factory spec built clones.

it’s nice to finally get this one and have it built back up to Mat’s rider spec for a change.

Thank you RADBMX and the MK judges. Didn’t think a refinished bike would even place, but 2nd place in the mid school street/ park amongst such a varied and stunning mid school selection was unreal. Must have been the addition of pegs that swung it!
