Mk1 1983 Raleigh Ultra Burner
« on: November 08, 2018, 06:04 PM »
Finished in time for the last Burner Bash in 2012 where it won 1st Place in Mk1 Class, it went on to win 1st place at MK12 in the Street Bike Section.

I still have it but have added a NOS Seat.

Awesome bike.

There would have been a lot of happy faces on Christmas morning back in Ď83 getting one of these.

Great build ... love it! 2012 ? I bet it cost you a lot less than my GS cost to build!

That is stunning mate..
I was lucky enough to have a ultra burner on Christmas morning in Ď82 , so happy that day thrashing down the street with my brakes squealing onto the new 7x and I binned the pad set and reflectors that day lol..

Here is my ultra build .

It was a massive design success by Raleigh IMHO, all their various color ways stood out and itís what people remember now, when you discuss Burners.

Itís a shame that the same effort wasnít applied to their frame design.
