Sealed tange B.B. fitting
« on: November 26, 2018, 04:26 PM »
Hi all, a bit of a stupid school boy  question here, I plan to fit  a sealed Tange bottom bracket for my opc, would any one have a idiot proof guide. I’m changing from a 3pc  so I can’t mirror it when I take the old B.B.  off.

Feel daft for asking.

Cheers

If it like this type it’s very easy mate...
One nut holds the chainwheel to the opc.
The bearing cups bit of 2x1 wood and a hammer to fit the cups into the frame, doesn’t matter which side as both the same.
Put chainring side Bearing in first feed opc then 2nd bearing.
Then fit x2 nuts for no play then lock together job done.

May find you run out of crank threads for the lock nut. Best buy a normal loose ball BB if that's the case..
WANTED : 1" freestyle forks, uglier the better
