Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. Miss you loads Dad

Ditto Steve, I just don’t get the attraction with the FB group, unless you’re only in the hobby to buy and sell parts, and even beyond that, once said parts are bought, the completed bike never gets shown.

Exactly Dan, and tbh I feel very blessed that my first contact to the scene happend here on this forum. Makes it much easier for me to take the fb-group for what is, like you said ´buying and selling´ mostly. But all the nice and funny threads from our forum members over there are also entertaining, so our page isn't too bad. Nevertheless it's a shame that the number of people voting went down on here.

I know I don't really know anybody on the forum, unlike the FB groups. But I have found that they have drove me away from the BMX thing. So recently I have left all the groups, and have decided to keep all my BMX chat on the forum, like I did when I joined the forum years ago. Its a shame that the forum doesn't get more taking part :-\

There’s over 7.5k members on the FB page and over 5k here, and 41 people vote, it’s shocking really. It’s the same with the BMXFACTOR. I just don’t get how people can’t even be arsed to click on a link, look at some cracking builds and press on a dot to select their favorite.

The really sad part about it is; if there’s a controversial thread, people are falling over themselves to chip in, and when the MK date is mentioned, the forum becomes more active than the bra cups of the front row at a Take That gig.

i ONLY use FB to buy parts...that's it...Unfortunately that was a can't beat 'em join 'em situation. All the beat parts are there now, It's such a shame people do not post the same stuff for sale here for all the radsters who don't use FB. i still consider myself a relative newbie (after 8 years Damo??) but i remember when you had to be QUICK  to buy parts on here, or brummie Dave or Kappy would beat you to it in a flash!! Hell. you had to bump an item 3 times a day to keep it on the first page!!
the other problem with FB is that people use their real names so even though you might 'know' someone on here, you can't tell on FB!  ::)

GREAT MINDS TALK ABOUT IDEAS....

worthy winner Carlos, when I saw it in your kitchen half built  :coolsmiley: , plus after your old 78 was stolen early in 2018, it's fitting it wins the December BOTM

had my vote
