Any info on this Redline bike. Year, model etc. Is it worth anything? This puppy is immaculate. Barely used since new.

It looks lovely...any bike in that condition is worth something! It is more mid  school and not as old school as it looks...i like it . i would imagine a ratty example would be £200 for someone actually looking for a redline RL?? (it's an RL something) who used t have one it would have to be worth £400 ish at least? i can't be arsed right now to look at the museum to determine the exact RL number!  :-\

That is a relatively new model.  Loosely based on the RL20B.  They generally sell for sub £100 complete.  I have seen some go from sub £40 and others get to the £120 mark.  Just the wrong era at the moment.

I think it is an FS840 from circa 1999 - 2000.

They weigh a ton if memory serves me correctly.

I didn't get chance to look for a serial number. Are you sure '99-2000? It seems older to me - I thought it was late 80's early 90's.
I may buy it and sell it to someone who really wants one as I don't collect any more.

I’ve been scouring bmxmuseum.com and the nearest I’ve found at the moment is 1995 RL240. I’ll keep searching.

Hold on - the guy has put it n eBay for £675...  The item number is 283391525848.
I don’t think it’s worth that much.

If people "buy it and sell it on to someone who really wants it" prices will never stabilise. Probably what the ebay bloke is doing.

No that's not the same bike. The one I saw had small diameter down tube etc just like in the 80's.
The one you posted has a much fatter down tube.
