Ramps at MK
« on: April 17, 2019, 06:28 PM »
**first of all, my apologies for deleting Ed’s thread. I intended to edit it rather than delete it, but messed it up. Sorry Ed  :-[**

The  :radbmxsmilie: team can confirm that TwoBobRob and his team at Radii ramps will be providing us with their fabulous ramps at MK this year!
We are delighted to have Rob & his team on board, and we will have a kickturn/trick ramp and a quarter pipe for your enjoyment!

See you all there!

Stay RAD!

You guys have made the right choice and after reading Rob’s post in the 1st thread, the only choice.

I don’t ride the ramps, know little about joinery and have only said hi to Rob, but you can tell that this guy has got pride in his ramp building and everyone’s safety ahead of everything.

I'm even more gutted I can't be there now :'(

I remember a few years ago we rode the ramps all day till we had blisters on our blisters.... but me and Richie Tricky Deano were determined to have that spine Rob had built. Took an audience to get me to do it, but Rob sat me down and told me how to do it.... best day riding ramps ever, me and Rich nailed the bloody thing about a dozen times then went straight to the Dog & Duck fistblump

Brilliant news Robs involved, his 8' quarter is the best I've ever ridden and he is an awesome bloke :coolsmiley:
Still limping......

Has a tee design gone up? How about the Pistols tour bus image by Jamie Reid. With MK19 on bus.

Hi everyone.

Sorry for the delay in responding to this thread.

There's some very kind words in here - thanks for that.

So yeah, we ironed out the wrinkles (which was very easy to do) and we'll be there with the obligatory big quarter and a good sized kickturn ramp.  If space/time allows, I'll chuck in a couple of mid school-ish street bits for those types to bash their pegs against.

In other related business, some of you might remember last year we debuted a new long  jump ramp which subsequently killed someone...  I do hope he healed up ok   ;D.

I still have it here -  do I bring it as is, or should I tone it down a wee bit?

Assuming there's going to be a long jump contest this year.

Let's have your opinions on that please chaps.

Great news that you’re on board dude , are you back on track with your business after the blaze ?
Looking forward to seeing you and the crew , are you bringing more T-shirts ? If so be sure to pack some big man size as I’ve not gotten any thinner since last year !
P.s bring more of the purple tie dye ones if possible as my girl looks double fit in hers  explosion
