Anodising advice
« on: September 07, 2019, 09:31 PM »
Hey guys

Just doing a Raleigh super burner build and originally thought the wheels are super chromed the same as the frame but after taking it to bits they are actually anodised Ali rims.
I have looked up how to strip them and oven cleaner followed by a good bit of buffing seems to be the way but does anybody know where to get them anodised?  I tried a local platers but they only do soft anodising and told me the rims should be hard anodised?
Cheers!
