Torker 280X
« on: September 10, 2019, 09:51 AM »
So this has happened  :)

Torker 280X to build  :)   It's come along quite quickly as i had the the black parts for the AP that now isn't happening  :)
The chrome was too far gone on the AP.   Del had it powdered and is doing a Team Pro.

Kinda of a mix as the chrome is flaking on the frame and i found some OG condition Robinson bars lying around .  But the frame still has the OG bike shop sticker  :smitten:  . So for once i can't bring myself to re chrome it . Most of the other parts are NOS .

The yellow bars are Torker bars but i've been told they have had a repair and can't be chromed  :-\  . So i'm having them stripped to have a look.  TBH i think the Robinson bars go well with the frame.

I'm looking for some nice / mint OG A'me tri's    Anyone ?  Although the Tange are ok

Updates to follow.

This is going to look ace. Look forward to seeing the finished item. It reminds me of mine as a kid, it was the same, but with black tuffs. My current Torkers are freestyled up, but seeing your's  wip buld has got me thinking.

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. Miss you loads Dad
