Brake cable tie/strap
« on: October 04, 2019, 04:24 AM »
I'm after a brake cable tie/strap that goes around the top tube and has a notch in it for the brake cable to sit.

Basically like the old dia compe chrome cable clamps but in rubber or whatever it is

I've searched and always comes up with bog basic cable ties, can anyone point me in the right direction please as I know I've seen them but can't remember where

There are moulded plastic ones with a notch for the cable to sit in. They just clip onto the top tube but don’t have any securing nut/bolt, so can be taken off fairly easily. I’ve only seen them in black. Some lower end completes had them fitted as stock/spec bitd. My Peugeot defo had them.

These are new versions, similar, but not exactly the same as the originals [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Thank you as this is exactly what I was trying to explain.
