I will enter my Yamaha BYZ401.

This bike I have owned since Christmas 1982, so it has been with me now for 37 years (it is ageing better than I am LOL).

I have recently rebuilt the bike and re-anodised the original parts, I have added some bits that were worn out and I am still on the look out for the original Cross grips, SR seat post clamp and SR Stem, but other than that I am really happy with it.

It reminds me of being a kid again and remembering hitting the streets with my mates bitd.

Parts List:

Frame:      Yamaha BYZ401 (original)
Forks:      Cross TMX (original)
Headset:   Hatta (original)
Stem:      Suntour
Bars:      Cross Yamaha (original)
Grips:      Winners Circle
Brake Lever:   Chang Star (original)
Brake Caliper:   Weinmann (original)
Seat Post:   SR Laprade (original)
Seat:      Cross Yamaha (original)
Crank:      Nervar (original)
Chainring:   Sakae (original)
Pedals:      Sakae (original)
Rims:      Weinmann (original)
Hubs:      Maillard Helicosport (original)
Tyres:      Comp II (repop)
Padset:      Yamaha

My 79 PK has had a facelift. Firstly the coaster brake Tuff 2’s are gone and replaced with an Araya 7b up front and an Araya 7c at the rear both laced to early Sunshine hubs.  Also, the Cook Bros Bars have been swapped out for early SE Powerwings and we now have the addition of a Shimano pre bent lever and DC MX1000 Caliper.
