New to RADBMX
« on: May 20, 2020, 11:04 PM »
After lurking for quite sometime and a lot of drawling over a lot of the top notch beautiful rides on here I decided to join in on the fun I ve purchased a few raleigh stylers, mags and burners and a few other old 80s bmxs the latest being a skyway which has left me a little confused as it's slightly out of my comfort zone. So was wondering if some of you fine lot would help clear a few questions I have on it? Ok so tried to upload pics and my file size is too large 😂 any advice on that would be much appreciated 👍

Hello and welcome.
Uploading pics does seem to be a bit of a issue on here!
What I do is email the pics I want to upload to myself but before sending , look for option to reduce file size then I opt for 30%.
Once received I just save em and use them for posts.
I dare say some radster will give you a lot easier way to do it but it works for me!
Be good to see some pics of those Burners too!

Does anyone know by looking at the photos if it's a street beat or street scene do the frame, forks and bars look original? Thanks

Put it up in Tech and Restoration. The Skyway boys will confirm.  :daumenhoch:

I'm no Skyway expert but thinking refinished Streetbeat 2 frame with aftermarket forks  :-\. Looks like it has 990 brake mounts on the underside  of the chain stays, and fork drop outs don't look  like og Skyway for street beat/stylers. And Street Scenes appear to have had screw in pegs halfway up the fork legs, which yours don't seem to have.

As said, post in Tech & resto when you can get some fresh images, there's a few Skyway gurus on here that should be able to help better.
**** WANTED: Early black Comp ST's, Mint Black Shotgun 2 or OG Suede Kashi Aero, Titrons, Black-White/White-Black RadKaps. Thank You ****
