I'm cropping in the PicCollage app then saving in my iPhone photos. Then if I can be bothered I re crop to lose the PicCollage logo then upload. The quality seems fine but it's a bit of a farting about.
Low end French does it for me ! 😂

i load phone pics to facebook, it shrinks the resolution for me, then save them on phone and I can load direct when posting.
Takes a few mins but saves the hassle of pics being too big.

I'm a bit of a laggard I'm afraid. Do all mine from a laptop (MacBook). Airdrop from the phone to the lap top, open the image in Preview, save-as (png) & reduce resolution to about 2Mb, then use the Insert Image option in my thread. Works most the time, and doesn't take too long. But on the odd occasion I have hassle I switch over to imgbb.com, like Photobucket, and really easy to use, but only use as a last resort, as obviously same worries with this as with photobucket a few years back  :-\.
