How do you get a picture as part of your signature please?

Paste the URL of the image inbetween.

Nope....used URL of pic on Photobucket, just get a link in my posts instead

if you go into forum profile info...go onto the signature block and add your image then click on change profile check it in summary if it is ok then go to home...  hope that helps
